Unstuck, Ex-Perfectionist

I used to obsess over getting everything perfect—every plan, every decision, every pixel. It worked for a while, until it didn’t. Design knocked that mindset loose and taught me something better: real progress comes from paying attention, staying curious, and fixing what actually matters instead of polishing what doesn’t. Now I focus on clarity, momentum, and building products that feel good to use, not just good to look at. The perfectionism didn’t disappear; it just grew up.

Outside work, I’m usually wandering new places with my camera on, collecting photos of the quiet, ordinary moments most people walk past. I read a lot, I manage people with more calm than my younger self ever had, and I never say no to long conversations with friends—preferably over a good cup of coffee. All of it keeps me grounded, curious, and connected to the real world I design for.
